They looked like huge bumble bees, except more black and they were hovering around the patio ceiling which is the underside of the deck above. This was our first encounter with carpenter bees. We have been customers of Janssen Pest Solutions for many years, so I naturally gave them a call. A technician was out the next day treating the unfinished wood on the under-sides of both our decks and I haven’t seen any of these big guys since. Thank you Janssen Pest Solutions!

They came out to remove birds in the spring one year from a second story vent, and then we had birds in a different vent the next year that they removed. They installed screens so the birds would not nest in these locations again.
